Overview Of: When Is the Right Time to Get Married?
What’s your expectation when it comes to marriage, I mean, “marry-age”? Like, when exactly should one settle down, as they say? This question is one of great interest to anyone as we all have either gotten married or will get married at some point in life. It’s a topic that shouldn’t be addressed with emotions but by stating facts so that people don’t miss it. Research has shown that most people care less about marriage until they get their first “toaster”, especially the ladies. At such points, they are often confused and overwhelmed about what decisions to make, since there had been little or no preparations for it. It is important you
do a little self-examination before considering marriage. Can you be devoted to one partner all your life? Are you really ready to pass through all the challenges of childbearing and upbringing, without backing out? Relationship has gone beyond just being a ‘boyfriend’ or ‘girlfriend’. If you still find these questions difficult to answer, then it’s advisable you wait a little longer before settling down with anyone. The report of a survey carried out by some relationship experts revealed that people within the ages of 22 and 30 have the tendency to manage marital issues effectively. Contrary to Islamic believe that early marriage is good, the research carried out by the Institute for Family Studies (IFS), showed that those who get married at tender ages, are prune to divorce. On the average, the right age for marriage is considered to be 30 years and above, especially for the male folks. For the ladies, they can marry a bit earlier, especially as childbearing becomes more difficult as they age.
